The Blackmount Rail Trail is also a multi-use rail trail, open year round. This trail is owned by the Town of North Haverhill. The trail ends in North Haverhill, at the "Augie Take-A-Break" pavilion, which was built by the Ammonoosuc Valley ATV Club in 2004. Gas, Food and Restrooms are available in North Haverhill, across from the trailhead/pavilion. Parking is available at this trailhead.

The speed limit on the Ammonoosuc Recreational Trail during the summer season is 25 MPH, as posted by the New Hampshire Trails Bureau.

NOTE: The covered bridge in Bath is open to ATV/Trail Bike traffic for store/fuel access. PLEASE OBEY THE 10 MPH SPEED LIMIT AT ALL TIMES.

Responsible Riding:

Damage to trails cost resources to repair, and limits the future potential for new trails. Irresponsible and reckless conduct should not be condoned, nor should it be tolerated. Please promote and advocate responsible riding within your group. You may not get the message across to everyone... but do whatever you can to spread the word. Trail use is a privilege, not a right,  within the bounds of laws, rules, and good conduct and should be treated as such. Tread lightly and safely.
